Valerie Mahaffey (June 16, 1953 – May 30, 2025) was an American actress who acted mostly for television programs. She appeared in Desperate Housewives, Big Sky and Young Sheldon. She acted in some movies during her career such as Jack and Jill and Sully. Maheffey won an Emmy Award in 1992.
Mahaffey was born in Sumatra, Indonesia to a Canadian mother and an American father. She was raised near Austin, Texas.[1]
Mahaffey died of cancer on May 30, 2025 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 71.[2]
