Volya Movement
(Redirected from Volya (Bulgarian political party))
Volya (Bulgarian: Воля meaning "Will"; previously known as Dnes and the Liberal Alliance) is a political party in Bulgaria. It was founded on 15 July 2007 by businessman Veselin Mareshki. The name Volya was adapted on 28 November 2016.[1][2]
The party is seen as having a pro-Russian stance, and is also Eurosceptic (meaning they are critical of the European Union).[3] It is also nationalistic and populist.
Their best performance in the parliamentary election was in 2017, where they received around 4% of the national vote and won 12 out of 240 seats.
