Waitangi, Northland
Waitangi (/waɪˈtæŋi/[1] or /ˈwaɪtəŋi/, Māori: [ˈwaitaŋi]) is a locality in the Bay of Islands on the North Island of New Zealand. It is close to the town of Paihia, 60 kilometres north of Whangarei. "Waitangi" is a Māori-language name meaning "weeping waters".
