Waldorf Education
Waldorf education is education based on Rudolf Steiner's conceptions. During his carreer, Rudolf Steiner published a number of works regarding education and pedagogy. There are schools, which use these ideas. The ideas are called Anthroposophy. Rudolf Steiner stated it . These schools started in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. There, they are often an alternative to state-run schools; usually they are private schools. Since the second half of the 20th century, Waldorf education has also spread to other countries.
