Wan Mokhtar
Wan Mokhtar bin Wan Ahmad (21 March 1932 – 21 September 2020) was a Malaysian politician. He was the 11th Menteri Besar of Terengganu and Member of the Terengganu State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Cukai from September 1974 to December 1999. He was a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). Mokhtar was born in Kuala Terengganu, Indonesia. He was a friend of the former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.
Mokhtar died on 21 September 2020 in Kuala Lumpur from problems caused by heart disease, aged 88.[1]
