Wausau, Wisconsin
Wausau is a city in Marathon County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is the largest city in the county, and it is the county seat (where the government of the county works). According to the 2020 census (official count), 39,994 people lived in the city.
The Wisconsin River flows through the middle of the city.
