Webtoon
Webtoons (Hangul: 웹툰; RR: Weptun) are a type of digital comics that come from South Korea. They are usually meant to be read on smartphones and are released in episodes. While webtoons were mostly unknown outside of South Korea during when they were created, there has been an increase in popularity because of free digital comics.[1] Today, Webtoons make roughly $5.91 billion globally.[2]
