Yamata-no-Orochi

Yamata no Orochi (八岐大蛇 (ヤマタノオロチ), "8-branched giant snake") or Orochi (大蛇), is a mythical Japanese dragon with eight heads and eight tails.[1][2]

Yamata Amasung Keibu Keioiba (English: [Yamata-no-Orochi and Keibu Keioiba] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)) is a Meitei language play that interweaves the stories of the two legendary creatures, Yamata-no-Orochi of Japanese mythology and Keibu Keioiba of Meitei mythology (Manipuri mythology). In the play, the role of Yamata-no-Orochi was played by Maisnam Momocha.[3][4]
