YouTube headquarters shooting
Just before 1 p.m. PDT on April 3, 2018, an active shooter was reported at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California, United States.[1][2] The suspect, armed with a handgun, approached an outdoor patio and opened fire. Three people were shot (including one who sustained critical injuries); an other person was injured while fleeing the building.[2] Police reported that the shooter, a woman, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.[2]
Two law enforcement sources told the Associated Press that a man who was wounded in the attack is believed to be the shooter's boyfriend, and said that the shooting is believed to have been motivated by a domestic dispute.[3]
The shooter was Nasim Najafi Aghdam, a 39 year old woman. She died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.[4]
