Yun Hyon-seok
His nickname was Yook Woo Dang(육우당 六友堂[1] Six friends). His penname was Sulheon(설헌 雪軒), Midong(미동 美童 Beauty Boy).
Yun was born in Incheon.[2] He later moved to Seoul. In his early years, he was a student, poet and writer. In 2002 and 2003 he was a human rights movement and peace activist. In March 2003, he was a conscientious objector.[2]
In April 26, 2003, he committed suicide[3] in Dongdaemun in Seoul by hanging himself.[4] He did it to protest discrimination against s in South Korea.[5][6]
