Tracy Lauren Marrow (born February 16, 1958), better known by his stage name Ice-T, is an American rapper, songwriter, actor, and producer. He was born in Newark, New Jersey and moved to Summit, New Jersey during his childhood. He moved to Los Angeles, California in his early teens. His movies include Ricochet and New Jack City. He is best known for his role in the TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

In support of Power, Ice-T co-headlined Public Enemy's 1988 "Bring the Noise" concert tour, which was supported by then up-and-coming acts Eazy-E and EPMD.
