Abraxas grossulariata
Abraxas grossulariata is a moth of the family Geometridae. It lives in Europe and North America. Its speckled color patterns have given it the common name magpie moth. The caterpillar is about the same in color as the adult and feeds on the leaves of shrubs such as gooseberry.
