Acting President of Sudan
The acting president of the Republic of Sudan (Arabic: القائم بأعمال رئيس جمهورية السودان) is a temporary post provided by the Constitution of Sudan. The acting president is a person who fulfills the duties of the president of the Republic of Sudan when cases of incapacity amd vacancy occur. However, the person who takes office has very limited power as the acting president cannot call a referendum or propose constitution amendments. This post is usually held by the First Vice President of Sudan.
