Sadiq al-Mahdi
Sadiq al-Mahdi (Arabic: الصادق المهدي), also known as Sadiq as-Siddiq (25 December 1935[1] – 26 November 2020) was a Sudanese political and religious figure. He was Prime Minister of Sudan from 1966 to 1967 and again from 1986 to 1989.

He was head of the National Umma Party.
On 26 November 2020, al-Mahdi died from COVID-19, after being hospitalized in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at the age of 84.[2]
