Adrian C. Wilcox High School

Adrian C. Wilcox High School is a public high school in Santa Clara, California, United States.[4][12] It is for students in grades nine through twelve.[4] It is one of four high schools in the Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD).[13] In April 2005, Wilcox became a California Distinguished School.[14]

Wilcox High School opened in 1961.[2][8] It is named after Adrian Clyde Wilcox, a member of the Santa Clara Union High School District Board of Trustees.[15] In 1981, Wilcox's colors, mascot, newspaper name, and yearbook name were changed.[16]

Student life

As of the 2024–2025 school year, Wilcox High School has 24 Advanced Placement (AP) classes.[12] It also has a lot of clubs, sports, and activities.[4] For example, there is a robotics team,[17] an orchestra,[18] a cheerleading team,[19] and a theatre company.[20]

Each grade has a class color.[21] The class colors are usually used on spirit days.[21] As of the 2024–2025 school year, the class colors are:
