Ai Yori Aoshi
Lua error in Module:Unicode_data at line 293: attempt to index local 'data_module' (a boolean value). is a Japanese seinen manga created by Kou Fumizuki. It was published from 1998 to 2005 in Hakusensha's Young Animal. It is a love story between two childhood friends who have not seen each other in years.

Ai Yori Aoshi anime was directed by Masami Shimoda. It was written by Kenichi Kanemaki and animated by J.C.Staff.[2] The series was made into an anime in 2002.[3] A sequel, Lua error in Module:Unicode_data at line 293: attempt to index local 'data_module' (a boolean value)., set two years later started running in 2003.[4] The anime was released in North America by Geneon. The manga was released in English by Tokyopop. Four visual novels were also released for the PlayStation 2, and for Windows 98.
Ai Yori Aoshi did well with its English manga release. Book one ranked number 45 on the top 50 Manga's sold of that month.[5] With around 3,329 books sold, the series was at number 18 of 100 with Volume 6.[6] It then soon fell out of the top 100 list for the other releases. The last volume ended at number 66 out of 100 on the sales list.
