Alexander Ankvab
Aleksandr Ankvab (/ˈɑːŋkvɑːb/ ( listen) AHNK-vahb; Abkhaz: Алықьсандр Анқәаб, Georgian: ალექსანდრე ანქვაბი, Russian: Алекса́ндр Анква́б; born December 26, 1952) is an Abkhaz politician and businessman. He was President of Abkhazia from May 29, 2011, until his resignation on June 1, 2014.

Under President Sergei Bagapsh, he was Prime Minister from 2005 to 2010 and Vice-President from 2010 to 2011.[1][2]
In April 2020, Ankvab became Prime Minister again during the Aslan Bzhania presidency.
