Alfonso García Robles

Alfonso García Robles (20 March 1911 – 2 September 1991) was a Mexican diplomat and politician. García Robles received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1982, together with Sweden's Alva Myrdal. García Robles was the driving force behind the Treaty of Tlatelolco. This treaty established a nuclear-free zone in Latin America and the Caribbean.
