Amrita Sher-Gil
Amrita Sher-Gil (30 January 1913 – 5 December 1941) was a famous Indian artist and painter. She was born to a Punjabi Sikh father and a Hungarian mother. Because of her life and work, she is sometimes known as 'India's Frida Kahlo'.She was born into Majitha royal family. She is considered an important woman painter of 20th century India.
She died in 1941 in Lahore city, now in Pakistan, at the age of 28.
