Anita Malik

Dr. Anita Malik (born April 17, 1978) is an Indian clinical oncologist known for her work in the field of oncology and non-invasive methods of treatment for cancer patients. She is currently serving as a Senior Consultant and Radiation Unit Head at Fortis Hospital Noida 62 and provides her expertise across the Delhi/NCR region.[1][2]

Early Life and Education

Dr. Anita Malik was born on April 17, 1978, at Army Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, to Yatendra Kumar Sirohi, a former army personnel, and Mrs. Sarla Sirohi. She completed her early education at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Kota, Rajasthan.[3]

Dr. Malik pursued her medical education at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, where she earned her MBBS degree. She further specialized in Radiation Oncology by completing her MD at the Government Cancer Hospital (M.Y.H. Compound) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. She also received training at AIIMS Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, and Medanta the Medicity in Gurugram.[4]

Career

Dr. Anita Malik is currently working as a Senior Consultant and Radiation Unit Head in the Department of Oncology at Fortis Hospital Noida 62, serving the Delhi/NCR region. Over the course of her 13-year career (2009–2024), she has treated more than 7,000 patients and is frequently consulted by various media outlets for her expertise in oncology.[5]

She is also actively involved as an expert oncologist with the Navast Institute of Nutrition and Dietetics (NIND) and Medtalks, where she participates in live webinars. Dr. Malik has been invited to speak at various platforms such as NIND, Onco.com, Virangna (Dayal Singh College, New Delhi), and Medtalks, where she shares her experiences and insights into healthcare, preventive measures, and screening in oncology.[6]
