Anne Baker
Anne Isobel Baker MBE (née Salmond; born 14 May 1914) is a British writer and fundraiser.

The second of four children to Air Chief Marshal Sir William Geoffrey Hanson Salmond KCB KCMG DSO (1878–1933) and his wife, Lady Margaret Mary (née Carr; 1888–1983), she married Captain Valentine Edward Baker (b. 1910) in Staines, Middlesex in April 1938. They had five children together. She was widowed in Salisbury, Wiltshire on 27 February 1980, after nearly 42 years of marriage.
In 2021, aged 107, Baker was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II in the 2021 New Year Honours for charitable services as a volunteer fundraiser for the NSPCC, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.[1][2][3]
The oldest woman in Wiltshire, Baker celebrated her 100th birthday on 14 May 2014, becoming a centenarian.[4] She turned 105 in 2019.[5] She celebrated her 110th birthday on 14 May 2025, becoming a supercentenarian.[6][7][8] She turned 111 in 2025.[9][10]
