Anthony Downs
Anthony Downs (/daʊnz/; November 21, 1930 – October 2, 2021) was an American economist. He specialized in public policy and public administration. He was a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., beginning in 1977.[1]

Before 1977, Downs served for 18 years a member and then Chairman of Real Estate Research Corporation. He also was a Senior Analyst at the RAND Corporation and a professor at the University of Chicago.
Downs died on October 2, 2021 in Bethesda, Maryland at the age of 90.[2]
