Sir Anthony Frank Mason AC KBE QC (born 21 April 1925) is an Australian judge. He served as the ninth Chief Justice of Australia, in office from 1987 to 1995. He became a justice of the High Court of Australia in 1972. He was born in Sydney, New South Wales.[1]
