Arash Estilaf

Arash Estilaf (Persian: آرش استیلافcode: fa is deprecated ), known as Hua Bobo (simplified Chinese: 华波波code: zh is deprecated ; traditional Chinese: 華波波code: zh is deprecated ; pinyin: Huà Bōbō) is an Iranian actor and TV host active in China.^[1]^[2]^[3]

Life

His birth name is Mohammadjavad Estilaf. He was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to China when he was 17 years old. Estilaf moved to Shanghai in 2006. He started learning Chinese at East China Normal University. In 2008, he joined the first Chinese Bridge language contest for foreign students. He finished in the top 10.^[4] Estilaf became popular on Chinese TV as comedian.
