Area code 630 is a telephone area code in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP). It is used in the state of Illinois in the United States. It was created in 1996 as a split of area code 708. It covers many suburbs of Chicago in northeastern Illinois, including Aurora, Naperville, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, and Lombard. It was overlaid by 331 in 2007.
