Area codes 718, 347, and 929 are area codes of New York. It was created in 1984 as a split from 212.[1][2] It covers the boroughs of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. It was overlaid by 917 in 1992, 347 in 1999,[3] and 929 in 2011.[4]

Marble Hill, a neighborhood of the borough of Manhattan, is physically located on the U.S. mainland, adjacent to the Bronx.
