Attignat
Attignat is a commune. It is found in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in the Ain department in the east of France. In 2009, 2,850 people lived in the commune. The inhabitants are the Attignatis. The local economy is mostly based around commerce. The most important monuments in the commune are the Saint-Loup d'Attignat church, originally from the 12th century, and the ruins of the Château de Jalamonde, a feudal castle.
