Babar Azam

Babar Azam (Urdu: محمد بابر اعظم; born 15 October 1994), is a Pakistani international cricketer. He captains Pakistan in all formats.[3][4][5] He is the only batsman in the world to be in the top 5 rankings across all formats and is ranked as the number 1 batsmen in T20I and in ODIs as of 9 April 2022.[6][7][8] he decision to quit captaincy was taken by Babar Azam himself[9]

Career

He captains Karachi Kings in the PSL and captains Central Punjab in domestic cricket.[1][2] In April 2021, he was the number one spot in the ICC rankings for ODI batsmen.[3][4] While in November 2021, he became the number one T20I batsman, a ranking he held in 2018.
