Production
It was written and directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the Dharma Productions banner.[4] This film is a sequel of the film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, which was released in 2014.

The film was theatrically released in India on 10 March 2017,[5] coinciding with the Holi weekend.

The movie received positive reviews and was commercially successful at the box office,[6] and earned over 1.90 billion globally at the box office.
