Barbara Mandrell

Barbara Mandrell (born 25 December 1948 in Houston, Texas) is an American country singer. During the 1970s and 1980s she had many top ten hits.

  As a teenager, Mandrell became skilled at the steel guitar and often played background for several country music artists.
