Battle of Harir
The Battle of Harir occurred in 1820 during the rule of Muhammad Pasha of Rawanduz (also known as Mirê Kor) in Southern Kurdistan. The battle was part of his expansion efforts against the Ottoman Empire.

Battle
In 1820, Mir Muhammad Rawanduz launched his expansion into the territory of the Babans, he started his attacks by besieging and controlling Harir which was its ancient capital, this battle made Ali Ridha of Baghdad fear the power of expansion of the Pasha of Rawanduz.
