Beatrice Gladys "Bea" Lillie (May 29, 1894 – January 20, 1989) was an actress and comedic performer. She played Mrs. Meers in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Prior to that, she also played Maria in On Approval (1944).[1]
Lillie was born in Toronto, Ontario. She died from Alzheimer's disease in Oxfordshire, England.
