Biljana Plavšić
Biljana Plavšić (Serbian Cyrillic: Биљана Плавшић; born 7 July 1930) is a Serbian politician. She was the President of Republika Srpska between 1996 and 1998, who was later indicted in 2001 by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for war crimes committed in the Bosnian War.

She plea-bargained with the ICTY and was sentenced to 11 years in prison in 2003.[2] She was released on October 27, 2009 after serving two-thirds of her sentence. Plavšić is, together with Radovan Karadžić,[3] the highest ranking Bosnian Serb politician to be sentenced.
