Bloody Mary (song)
Bloody Mary is an electropop song by American recording artist Lady Gaga, released in December 2022 and recorded in 2010. It is from her second studio album, Born This Way (2011). The song's lyrics talk about Gaga assumes the role of biblical figure, Mary Magdalene, in who she found a "feminine force" in and worshipped her since her childhood in a Catholic girl school.[3][4][5] It is one of the several tracks on the album that have biblical references.

In 2022, following the release of the Netflix horror-comedy series Wednesday, dances featuring the title character, Wednesday Addams, along with fan reactions, went viral on the video streaming service TikTok. Many used a sped-up version of the song. This resulted in a large increase of plays of this song on Spotify.[6][7][8]
