Bremanger
Bremanger is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. In 2022, 3,521 people lived there.
Culture: Rock carvings are in the landscape at Vingen-feltet; Some of the carvings are 6,000 years old.[1]
Economy
The dominant[2] company, is a foundry, Elkem Bremanger.
In March 2025, the municipal council will make its (last or) final decision about building a factory in the so-called adventure tale forest; The planned ammonium factory, already has been promised two billion Euros from the EU.[3]
Administration
The mayor, Anne Kristin Førde, is elected until late 2027.[4]

The high cliff on the west side of Gjegnen mountain. It is called "Galleriet". The cliff is from the west side of Gjegnen to Bjørndalsvatnet.
