British Petroleum
British Petroleum, now called "BP plc", is one of the world's seven biggest oil and gas companies.[1] Its headquarters are in London. The company grew out of the old Anglo-Persian Oil Company, which was founded in 1908. It was privatised by the British government in stages between 1979 and 1987.[2]
