Britt Baker

Brittney Baker (born 19 May 1985) is a American professional wrestler and dentist. She currently wrestles for the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and competes under the ring name (Dr.) Britt Baker (D.M.D.).

During her time in AEW, Baker has been a one-time AEW Women's World Champion and was the winner of the Women's Owen Hart Cup in 2022.

Outside of professional wrestling, Baker is a member of the American Dental Association and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in May 2018.[1]

Career

All Elite Wrestling

On January 2, 2019, Baker signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).[2] At Double or Nothing, Baker made her AEW in-ring debut defeating Nyla Rose, Kylie Rae, and Awesome Kong in a four-way match.[3]

On the March 17, 2021 episode of Dynamite, Baker faced Thunder Rosa in a Lights Out match. Rosa defeated Baker in the match. The match was the first women's main event in Dynamite history and was well liked and praised.[4][5]

At Double or Nothing, Baker won her first championship in AEW. She defeated Hikaru Shida to win the AEW Women's World Championship.[6] she defended the championship against Red Velvet and Tay Conti. At St. Patrick's Day Slam, Baker lost the championship to Thunder Rosa in a steel cage.[7]

Baker would enter the tournament for the Owen Hart Cup. She would go on to defeat Danielle Kamela in the first round, Maki Itoh in the second round, and Toni Storm in the third round.[8][9][10] Baker would go on to win the Owen Hart Cup after defeating Ruby Soho in the finals.[11]
