Buenos Aires City Police
The Buenos Aires City Police is the security police force of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

Training and education
City Police personnel are trained and educated at the Higher Institute of Public Security (ISSP). This Institute is an autonomous entity that reports organically and functionally to the Ministry of Justice and Security of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, under the Ministry of Justice and Security.
This institute trains future officers of the force in various specific areas, subject to an intensive disciplinary regime, and is one of the most prestigious in Latin America. The training program, in which cadets train for police work, lasts two years. Graduating cadets earn the rank of City Police Officer.
Ranks
The Buenos Aires City Police has 13 ranks, led by the Chief Superintendent.[4] The ranking system was inherited from the Metropolitan Police. The Chief Superintendent rank is an addition, used only by the head of the BACP.
