Caersws
Caersws (Welsh: Caersŵs) is a village and community in Powys, a county in Wales. It is in the historic county of Montgomeryshire.

It is situated 5 miles (8 km) west of Newtown and is halfway between Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury, England.
The 2011 census found that the community had a population of 1,586 people and the village itself had a population of just over 800 people. The community includes the settlements of Clatter, Llanwnnog and Pontdolgoch.
Transport
The village has a railway station on the Cambrian Line between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth and Pwllheli. The station is served by Transport for Wales trains that head west to Aberystwyth and Pwllheli and trains that head east to Shrewsbury. Most of the trains that head east from the station continue past Shrewsbury and end at Birmingham International.
