Carolyn Merchant
Carolyn Merchant (born July 12, 1936) is an American ecofeminist philosopher and historian.[1] She is known for her book The Death of Nature. Her works were important in environmental history and the history of science.[2][3]
She is Professor of Environmental History, Philosophy, and Ethics at UC Berkeley. She was born in Rochester, New York.
