Christian County is a county in southwest Missouri. As of the 2020 census, the population was 88,842.[1] Its county seat is Ozark. It became a county in 1860 and is named after William Christian, a Kentucky soldier of the American Revolutionary War.[2]

Christian County is part of the Springfield, Missouri metropolitan area. From 2000 to 2010 it was the fastest growing county in Missouri and one of the fastest growing in the United States. This was due to the booming growth in nearby Springfield.[3]
