Circuit of the Americas
The Circuit of the Americas[1] is a motor racing circuit in Austin, Texas. Hermann Tilke designed the circuit in the middle of 2010. Construction was started in early 2011. It is planned to open in 2012. The circuit will run counter-clockwise.
The circuit will host the 2012 United States Grand Prix. Starting in 2013, it will host MotoGP races for 10 years.[2] It will also host a round of V8 Supercars, an Australia-based touring car racing series, starting in 2013.[3]
