Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex
The Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex (officially called the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington, TX Metropolitan Statistical Area by the US Office of Management and Budget) is a large metropolitan area of Texas which includes the 11 counties in the area.[1] Residents of the area also refer to it as the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, DFW, or the Metroplex. It is the economic and cultural hub of the region. DFW is the largest inland metropolitan area in the United States.[2]
