Daniel Viglietti
Daniel Alberto Viglietti Indart (24 July 1939 – 30 October 2017) was an Uruguayan folk singer, guitarist, composer, and political activist. He was one of the main singers of Uruguayan popular song and also of the Nueva Canción or "New Song" of the 1960s and early 1970s. Viglietti was imprisoned in 1972 by his own government.[1] He was an activist against fascism in South America during the 1970s.
