David Schwimmer
David Lawrence Schwimmer (born November 2, 1966[1]) is an American actor. He played Ross Geller, one of the six main characters in the television sitcom Friends.

Early life
Schwimmer was born in Flushing, Queens, New York, to Arthur Schwimmer and Arlene Colman.[1] He then lived in Valley Stream, Long Island, until he was two years old. He was raised in Los Angeles, California, where he attended Beverly Hills High School.[1]
He attended Northwestern University’s summer “Cherub” program (the National High School Institute) in 1983. He later enrolled at the university as a theater student. In 1988, along with seven other Northwestern graduates, he co-founded Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company.
Personal life
Schwimmer married Zoe Buckman in June 2010. He has a daughter Cleo Buckman Schwimmer. He lives in Los Angeles, California, New York City, New York, and in Chicago, Illinois.
