Dee Dee Ramone (born Douglas Glenn Colvin; September 18, 1951 – June 5, 2002)[1] was a German-American singer, songwriter and musician. He was best known for being a founding member of the Ramones.

He was mostly a punk rock singer, but he also made some hip hop music.[2]

Ramone was born in Fort Lee, Virginia. He died from a heroin overdose, aged 50.[3][4]
