Demeke Mekonnen
Demeke Mekonnen Hassen (Lua error in Module:Unicode_data at line 468: attempt to index field 'scripts' (a boolean value).; born 27 September 1963) is an Ethiopian politician and has served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia, since 2012.[1] Demeke has assumed the position of the Acting Prime Minister of Ethiopia on 23 November 2021, following Abiy Ahmed's decision to engage in the ongoing Tigray War at the frontlines.[2]
