Drive-by shooting
A drive-by shooting is when a gun is fired from a moving vehicle, at a single or multiple targets outside the vehicle. Drive-bys are known in gang violence.[1] Many rappers have died in drive-by shootings such as Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G..[2][3]

Nestor Makhno (pictured in 1921) is attributed with inventing the tactics of drive-by shooting using horses, long before motor vehicles became common.
