Earl Ray Tomblin
Earl Ray Tomblin (born March 15, 1952) is an American politician. In 2010, he became Acting Governor of West Virginia after Joe Manchin was elected to the U.S. Senate. He was Acting governor from November 15, 2010 until 2011. From 2011 to 2017 he was the Governor of West Virginia. On October 2011, he won a special election to fill the term expiring in January 2013. On November 2012, he won election to his first full term. Before becoming governor, he was President of the West Virginia senate.
