Eugene Scalia

Eugene Scalia (born August 14, 1963)[1] is an American lawyer and politician. He was the 28th United States Secretary of Labor from September 30, 2019 until January 20, 2021. He was a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

He is a son of late U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia.

In July 2019, Scalia was nominated by President Donald Trump to become the next United States Secretary of Labor.[2][3] He was confirmed on September 26, 2019 with a 53–44 vote.[4]
